Playing for what? There is nothing tangible left to play for in that last match. If I lived in Barnsley I would gladly go, but to spend a lot of money coming from London or wherever to a lacklustre town for a lacklustre game is just not feasible for many people's budgets.Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Some lads are supporters who will go and watch our team regardless of the circumstances or importance of the game and some are followers who pick and choose. Lots of chaps use football as a social and why not, some go to the game and go home. Nothing wrong with either as we are all Rs but the social side is very much part of British culture.Originally posted by Kirill View PostIt is the polite form of saying I don't give a toss about pre-/post-match pub crawls and am focused on the game itself, hence this particular day out fascinates me about as much as a very unfascinating thing. Unless I have missed something and Barnsley is a major tourist attraction? From the Hills of Kerry

Agree totally Isleworth. Some people just don't get football cultureOriginally posted by IsleworthRanger View PostYou dont seem to be able to grasp that the thing you have missed is the fact that our team is playing and it does not matter if anyone goes on a pub crawl or is tee totalFrom the Hills of Kerry

Yep, with Son, who is living & studying just 30 mins away t'up North.
Chance to take the current Mrs 1976 to see her 'boy'. (Brownie points for Playoff overnighter and +8 loyalty points.
Win/Win for me, hopefully same HT/FT for the team to subsidise the excursion.
