After giving strikers a chance to shine and nothing much lossed or gained after 6 games, we need strikers its that simple.

I'm not going berate Simpson and fans that do that, its unfair, but 5 goals so far in the league is not good enough. We need to get a top striker in, its tha simple.

My change of attitude stems from watching these 6 games and before the start I simply wanted to give them a chance and wanted to stick up for them.

What I have seen, indicates that we are simply not good enough up front. Technically very good, but you need more than that. You need a brute up front and we haven't got one.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I wasn't prepared to write off Vine, accepted that tarrabt could play up front and hoped Ageymang and Pellicori might come good. Now, we've let Helguson go, we are too short.

I suspect we will go into the loan market soon (not next 1-2 weeks) with a view to a permanant signing in January.

OUr strike force is so poor, signed players: Vine, Agyemang Pellicori. That is definately not a promotion strike force.

Yes Hindsight IS a wonderful thing, but we had the entirity of last season to look at and it was glaringly obvious to anyone with a hole in their 'arris that we are short up top.

So, what does the club do? Get rid of our top scorer and target man and replace them with an untried Italian and an untried kid.

Still, a £3.5m 'deal' (NOT transfer fee) on yet another midfielder no better than what we've got or what we had arriving was worthwhile, wasn't it.

Just face it, you gave them a chance so that your followers on here would give your mate a chance. When are you going to accept that he has assembled a mediocre SQUAD? Some individually skilled players, but none of whom seem to get on collectively on and off the pitch.

As I've always known. Pete hasn't got a clue what he's talking about. The worst thing about it is that he tries to ram his incompotence down peoples throats and gets all stroppy when people don't agree with him. Then he changes his mind when proved wrong and tries to make it seem like he has come to that conclusion because he has been observant and educated whilst others only came to the conclusion because they were negative.

I don't care what any of you say but I feel we have a really good squad, maybe a few short but still strong.

Players win games, all depends on if they want to win and give 100%, whilst others don't. I'd like to know from fans which players do you feel that give this club 100% each week?

Which players don't give a monkeys if we win, draw or lose?

What do you see on the pitch when you watch us play, let's see which names pop out most, maybe some of these players are good but if they can't offer this club 100% then there is no point in playing them. We should loan them out or sell them and get a fee so we can replace them with players who do want to win and take us up.

Nothing lost after six games? If you are saying it will be another two games before anyone is brought in that will be 8/9 games, plus we will be out of one of the two cup competitions. That's a fifth of the season.
