Few years later went the season we got relegated from Prem before the game walking to the away end, again not looking for hassle, got jumped by a good four or five Chelsea; rabbit punched from behind boots flying in from the front all without warning got called n igger this, black C unt, Rangers C oon etc was a bit older then so tried giving back as many slaps as I took but if it had not been for some Rangers fans who saw what was going on an waded in on my behalf could have been a whole lot worse.

So if anyone reading this recalls the incident I thank you as never got a proper opportunity to thank you at the time.

And that TW is a major reason why I cannot stomach them and happily want to see them trip and fall at every opportunity. My heart sinks when I see black faces in the crowd at the bridge in there Chelsea attire and them having no idea of the history of that club and what it once stood for and how it was an active recruitment territory for C18 etc its amazing what splashing the cash and a few trophies does to changes a clubs reputation
    Excellent post West
No black man /mixed race man should support Chelsea
Whenever i meet a black/mixed raced chelsea fan especially in their 40s,,30s or older i cant resist reminding them of the Bulldog paper sold outside the Shed ,the Nazi salutes ,Bananas, monkey chants etc
The fact my immediate family consists of White ,English /Irish ,Black,Tinidadian ,English and mixed only meant that supporting Chelsea was always a no no.( although coming from South London ,so many of my good friends are chelsea ).
It`s part of their history they ,and their fawning press are so good at pushing under the carpet

We all have our own reasons for hating Chelsea. Personally, I can't stand the club but that feeling does not extend to their fans in general. As it happens all the Chelsea fans I have known are nice people. I just assume every club has the usual mix in their fan base, ourselves included!
'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

Agree with you mate. I will get myself in bother one day but when I do see black Chelsea fans of the age range you refer I cannot help but point out to them what the club was like back in the day they generally look at me baffled or you get the token answer 'I have always gone down Chelsea and it was not like that' to which I respond 'you really cannot have been going down there if you are not even prepared to acknowledge it'. Yes I am sure there were a few black fans who went week in week out (Babs being one of them) but the current breed of Chelsea fans black and white have no real knowledge of the club they supports history whether that be racism, hooliganism, small crowds or not actually being that good before Harding tipped up.

But if were honest what I initially described could apply to any Rangers fan the only extra bit I got was the racial. I have no doubt the ones that jumped me would have happily jumped white Rangers fans just because they were Rangers. Some of the older fans on this board have regularly spoken about Chelsea bullying back in the day at the Bridge in the Bush and in the home ends and this has built up the resentment felt by many towards them.

I know as a club were in a difficult period but what I have said last couple of posts is why I am Rangers and proud to be Rangers. When you look about our crowd home and away you see loads of Black and mixed race faces etc following the team and outside of Spurs and Arsenal I think that there is an argument we prob have the most black fans in London if you base it on a proportion of the home crowd we prob compare very well with the two mentioned as a percentage.

this piece of nonsense is one of the most laughable posts out there hahaha!!!

Jogo as your clearly an expert on clarifying who is and who isn't a rangers fan, I was hoping you could help me out as im now starting to question whether I'm actually a QPR fan or not after reading your bit of dribble.

Firstly. I've not actually been able to go to a game since the promotion season (but I am going this Saturday)... am I a qpr fan?

Secondly. I'm quite partial to a prawn cocktail sandwich. If I was to pick a favourite I'd probably go with a simple ham and cheese with salad cream, but like I said I do enjoy a prawn cocktail sandwich... am I a qpr fan?

Thirdly. Ive always followed international rugby but NOT club rugby!... am I a qpr fan?

Obviously there are still elements of those types of people at some clubs because they were the instigators when it happened, but now they are literally an older dying breed. I've read a few times that changes in society can take up to three generations. So maybe it could be said that the race link there is now slowly being broken in that the younger fans that you have spoken to have no experiences of it. It was racism then years ago, and now it's g*y issues that will take years to become accepted. Maybe football attracts more narrow-minded people.

Is this forum g.a.y, it doesn't like the word?

Is there still a lot of abuse towards g4y and black people in the modern game? I'm not to sure, I think the press/media like to make a bigger deal out of things that doesn't necessarily exist anymore. I could well be wrong and apologise if I am.

This explains exactly why you have the opinion you have on Redknapp and the team.. You haven't seen us play in the flesh this season!!.. Every fan who has been to near enough every rangers game this season.. now knows what redknapp is now about.

Another thing.... Are you and TW related? Is he your old man? Because you seem to stick up for eachother quite a bit?

Nothing wrong with sky and Internet streams, both extremely good quality.

Not sure why I have to be related to TW because I have the same views as him. If that's the case half my family are on this forum...

                          What part exactly??

The part where you only know what redknapp is about if you only go to the game's... is that because on tv and internet streams you can't see how we're playing? Our formation? Who's coming off, who's going on Etc etc???

Or is it that part where TWs my old man because we have the same views? If so, one question.... what does that make you and Rss? Father and son or maybe brother's or even sisters?

Or do you agree with all of it?
