He's hardly going to set the world on fire. 1 goal in 14 games so far for Burnley. 42 in 141 games for Brighton. I'd actaully take Bobby Zamora over him and I'm being serious!

He's only been a bit part player for Burnley so far because of Ings and Vokes....so I wouldn't read too much into his Burnley stats.

He signed on January the 10th. They've played 15 games since including a game on Jan 11th. He's made 14 appearances and scored 1 goal for Burnley.

Zamora this season has 14 appearances and 2 goals.

Don't get me wrong I don't want either, but as I said I stand by it word for word, I'd take Zamora over Barnes. In fact I'd go as far as saying any Championship manager would too.

Bobby's got 2 in 4 games and two of those he started on the bench. As I said we have all had enough of Zamora and I like the rest of us can't wait to see the back of him.... BUT - He's after a new contract somewhere so he'll be putting a shift in to try and secure a deal somewhere - JUST SAYING!

Shania, I agree that the comment took this thread off topic, but in reference to insulting people with disabilities, I think you will find that if you are ever fortunate enough to attend a seminar that Stephen is attending, that you will find he has an amazing sense of humour & tends to laugh at his own disability rather than hide behind it.

In reference to keeping this mb family orientated, we are trying, but we also have to recognize that it is a football forum & emotions at times can replace commonsense.

I have seen a few dokumetaries on Stephen H. and his life. But even though he is "comfortable" with how he copes by using humour as a tool, I´m not sure others in a similar situation are strong enough to doing so.
It didn´t affect me personally, but I will like to point out that it can affect others.
