The thing about supporting our infuriating but still wonderful football club is when you get the bug it's the characters that make the experience worth while. I met about 25 years ago a genuine larger than life man that left massive impression on me !! His three loves in his life were Rangers his family and a passion for playing and being a part of Londons Jazz scene. Many Saturdays in the Crown and Sceptre John would need a hair of the dog pint after a night playing and his company was second to none!! Mel his son would know me by face rather than name and my sincere condolences go out to you I loved your Dad. Sad day for me .. You R 'ssss
