But if it were truly a public vote I could understand that, but it's not because posters are hidden behind a moniker. So what is there actually to be apprehensive about?

Dunno but that's the way it seems to work. Stan, put up a secret poll that asks 'Do you like anonymous polls?' and see how many yes's you get Put the reverse questions I put up.
