    Barton's yellow cards!

Not sure if it's 12 or 13, but with a possible 12 more games left this season, he has to be nailed on for a 3 match ban.It appears there is no amnesty for 15 bookings, (I think 2nd Sunday in April is amnesty date for 10). So if he got his 15th booking against Barnsley, he would miss all 3 playoff games if we made the final. Just hope Harry and his brainstrust can manage the situation! !

it's a worry, ain't it? Almost better for him to get the bookings out of the way before the play-offs!

Are the start of the playoffs amnesty date for the regular seasons bookings?

Final is 24th May. Semis are TBC but between 8th & 17th.

Cheers mate . Thought they did as if a player had 4 yellows pre jan 1st and the pick up another post jan 1st they don't get a ban for 5 yellows . That's how I understood it anyway

Thats true but if they get to 10 before 2nd Sunday in April they would get 2 game ban. But dear old Joey is well passed that already.

                              Easy to sort out.
Currently in Playoff spot, 9 points clear of Forest who are 7th)
Win the next 4 games (Wigan, Blackpool, Bournemouth & Blackburn) 12 points
Beat Notts Forest at home ending their hopes of extending the season, watch Billy Davies through his hands in the air in disgust & get sacked. Joey laughs in his face, picks up a booking, meaning he'll miss 3 games. Leicester (probably lose anyway) then Watford & Millwall at home, which should both be winnable without him.
Returns for Barnsley away, just to get back into competative football and in case we need 3 points to finish in a position to play the easiest team to beat (ie. avoid Wigan).
Then free & fit for Playoffs.
                              Simples.
