Gareth Bale completed his first action of the season in a friendly against QPR at Spurs Lodge on Wednesday.

The Welsh full-back has been out since June after undergoing surgery to repair a medial meniscal tear on his left knee.

He played the full 90 minutes in the behind-closed-doors encounter that also saw Heurelho Gomes return to action.
