  • Commercial Revenue.

Here is an interesting little factoid which was found in the published accounts.

pre park signing we posted £4.5mil in commercial sales.

after the park and yun suk signings the following season 2012/13 our commercial sales are posted as being £3.6mil.

    that is down by 900k.

so this park springboard into the asia market was a bit of a failure dont you think.?
    nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Because his surname on the shirt is too short.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Best get Matty on the pies. The commercial sales will rocket
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Those figures INCLUDE Matty's pie consumption & he didn't miss a game !

Problem sorted he's just texted me to say there was always loads of Pokemon fans in the way taking photos of everything that's why pie sales were down.

He assured me normal service is now resumed and next years books will be back up to speed.....

"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Money laundering. Look at any holiday pics from Corsica or Sicily and you'll see shady people in the background with 'mafioso' on the back of their hooped shirts.

...so your point is that the board's hopes of making money through qpr becoming a globally recognised brand with a particularly strong following in asia are basically doomed to failure? is that a good thing?

the point klonk is not if its a good thing. the point is that tony f's aim to break the asian market was yet another failure.
his involvment in picking players to sign is A, not working on the pitch and B, not working off the pitch either.

park is clearly a has been on the pitch and we were missguided in how big he was in asia.
Yes, he may have been big once but times change and its clear to see that having him at our club is of no benifit whatsoever.

he clearly needs to stay in the boardroom and stop buying players that HE wants.

i don't disagree about the purchase of players (although in fairness, no one else's purchases haven't been that much better)... and yes, the anti-park brigade can feel vindicated. the worry is though that the lack of oversees commercial success will give then owners good reason to doubt the viability of investing in the football side of the club and more focus their attention on the (supposedly lucrative) property development side. it's clear from the accounts that tv money is not enough to make the club successful.
