That Taarabt lad....and a set fee...

The latest football news, live scores, results, rumours, transfers, fixtures, tables and player profiles from around the world, including Club Friendlies.

Thrown away 4 years..............and a set fee. If true, why a set fee? They would only wan“t him at the end of the season if he“d been a success....so WHY a set fee? Someone didn“t use the brain or shouldn“t be using their brain for things like this. If true, big mistake.

Thrown away 4 years. Wow what a c*** he really is. Always had a soft spot for him when others hated him but tbh he's nothing more than a disrespectful idiot. He's got his move. Hurry up and let's sell him & move on.

Set fee £6m according to someone on here the other day. Fair price I'd say under the circumstances although I'm sure we'd of got a couple more. Kia has probably made sure of that low fee release in his contract.

Don't you mean hopefully it was lost in translation? Or do you hope he slagged us off?

I did read this earlier and wondered if anyone else would pick up on his comments

Wish Adel would learn to keep his mouth shut as the way he is idolised at QPR, and rightly so, to read that he considers being our captain, lifting the championship, being given free reign as wasting four years does stick in my throat and is another example of him showing disrespect towards the club

Sure people will once again put up a defence for his comments but as a Rangers fan I say Adel you were lucky to have spent four years at our wonderful club we done you the favour it was not the other way around matey

We could barely give him away in the summer so I don't know what you're complaining about. If we get 6 or 7 million for him we've done well!

A lack of intelligence has held his career back. Its no surprise when he makes dumb statements.

IF he hadn“t been a success, Milans answer - No thanks. IF he has, which he has, been a success, they would be prepared to pay much more than so. So why a set fee?

Laughable. He is a skillful player but lacks pace and sometimes team ethic. While the slower Italian game might suit his style he still has a lot to prove.

In terms of the last four years he has been given numerous opportunities by both us and Fulham to prove he can do it at the top level and mostly hasn't. A few good performances but a lot of the time the game has passed him by and he has looked out of his depth. Shame but he has wasted a fair amount of our time trying to accommodate him in the hope he will come good.

A very lucky boy to get that opportunity after he flopped at Fulham in what I should think a lot of us thought was his last chance before slipping down the leagues.

All that said has given us some special moments so wish him the best.

If that is the case then is it really a surprise, considering the many mistakes that have been made since TF & co arrived...

I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
Perhaps he means he hasn't developed his game in the last four years whilst at QPR, which he feels is a waste of time. Which I would agree with.
It's not like we have a great record of improving young players. Promising youngsters like Hoillet come to us and seem to go backwards.
He probably feels at AC Milan they'll work with him on his game and improve him as a player. Good luck to him, hope he does become the Messi of Milan. And then we resign him when we qualify for the Champions League and he becomes the Ronaldo of Rangers.

Speechless I really am. How about instead of making excuses we just accept HIS quotes at face value

I will never get why some fans are prepared to forgive all when it comes to him and turn a blind eye

Had that quote been Bosingwa saying he had wasted a year there would be a meltdown but Adel says hes wasted four (of which we won the league and he was our captain) and its perhaps he meant this, perhaps he meant that. NO he meant what he said; he feels he wasted four years playing for us lets be having it straight
