    Nedum Onuoha...

...needs to start regularly from now on. A bright spot today on an otherwise dark afternoon. His speed, strength and two-way skills at centre back are needed. Besides, he was a big reason to all our clean sheets early in the season before he got injured.

though him and morrison were good. Think is that nedum has been excellent in every game he's played at centre back. He's proved to be our best centre back but takes harry how long to play him there? Hill and Dunne have been very good but he's better.

Nedum has age on his side as Dunne and Hill are on their last legs, and in the miraculous chance we go up,have no hope of starting next season.

Should be replaced in the summer anyway.

He´s our best CB. Hill is our captain but shouldn´t be any longer. Dunne and Ned as CB;s from now on.

Agree, dunne and hill have been doing fine, but Nedum is class and need to play when fit, to create a more dynamic centre back pairing.

You can bet your house on Redknapp will leave Nedum on the bench against Leeds.

Can see him leave in the summer. No need for him to stay when not being played regularly.

Mess about with the back four as much as you like. We messed about with it today. Change it as much as you like. It will make no difference. It isn't the problem. The s hit in front of the back four- especially up front- is the problem and it will be our downfall.

Would not surprise me as he would start in most Championship teams, and maybe a couple of prem ones.

Nedum is by far & away our best defender. Madness that he doesn't start. That said, though, 77 has a point in that our main problem is going forward - we are pathetic.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Have you got something against Onuoha - he is our future not Hill/Dunne - should be playing every week

No. I like the Chief. I'd have paired him at the back with Clint today and rested Dunne. But it really doesn't matter which of our three CBs we play.... And Clint and the landlord have largely earned their places. It's the s hit up front that's our problem. Doyle was worst than woeful today. And in every game he's played.

I thought the three at the back and Hughes and Traore pushing up worked today- even if Hughes can't really attack and it asked a lot of Traore. I'd stick with that system, but I am at a loss to suggest what or who should play in front of them. Certainly not Carroll. Barton when he's back. But what else??

If Watrbs fave, the Chief, had cleared the ball rather than lose it to a Charlton player there would have been no shot for Green to save to give them a corner and no corner for Green to f ack up for the winner.... Just saying.

A lot of people confused here, who were the three at the back?
