Harry: I wanted Taarabt back at QPR

So we were in a total mess pre season, packed with players who didn't want to play for QPR, Adel was definitely one of those. He got his wish and stayed in the premiership. It didn't work out for him. Meanwhile Harry hoped Krancjar and Carroll would give us the creativity we needed, again for whatever reason it isn't working for us. So maybe just maybe Harry has enough experience to realize we need someone who could run at defenders from midfield, make chances and open up gaps for others and did want Adel back ( we can all change our minds) and maybe when Milan came in for him , Harry new there is no way we could stop him going.So for me he has done the next best thing and brought in a real talent in RM. But par for this board, lets start by focusing on all the negatives instead of being a little bit excited that maybe RM is the missing link we have desperately been waiting for to ignite our season and get us up. Supporting QPR has always been about dreaming!

Cannot agree. This is not a question of choosing. QPR owe Adel so they have the right to decide. This is very similar to Barton's case. He wanted to join Marseille, but as he was our player the decision was taken by us. Remember Tony saying......'he's under contract with us and we decide where he plays!' Same with Adel. In conclusion....cannot understand Harry's statement on the subject. Hope he is not adding excuses in case he fails with his mission.

Maybe,maybe not. Needs change. Sure HR had worked out we need a creative spark in midfield, AT could have given us that. Maybe he would have taken the risk on Adel if he was happy to come back. But as usual sure you guys no best

Milan expressed interest in him towards the end of Jan. A number of thread and comments were posted on here in Dec that he wasn't playing at Fulham and that he should be recalled. If Redknapp wanted him back, he could have spoken with the player and Fulham to bring him back at the start of last month.

I know Taarabt has an attitude problem (so does Morrison), but he could have played a missive role again for QPR at this level.

Watched the Milan game last night, really good performance from Adel. Don't think there's much truth to be found in what Harry's saying, if he wanted him he'd have kept him.

I do always find your posts a tad sanctimonious and this is another example. This thread is about harry talking crap....it's not a I love adel or hate adel thread. Harry is simply trying to cover his back in case it all goes **** up this season.
