If We Go Up,What Current Players Should We Keep?.

For me i would go with:

    Green
    Simpson
    Dunne
    Onuha
    Barton
    Krankshaft
    Faurlin
    Austin
BAE if we can get him on a perm or another loan.

Think the rest just ain't good enough.Need a good overhaul but not journeymen looking for a payday, but younger players looking to prove themselves at the top level like Rhodes for example.

Went for Dunne as he is very experienced in the prem and would be good at guiding younger players.

Agree with list except suspect Cesar will replace Green as Green''s contract is up and we can't shift Cesar. Hell of a re-building exercise all over again - exactly what we swore we needed to avoid this time.

Doesn't matter if they are Johnny Foreigners or Bobby Englishes mate - we always seem to choose the ones with lousy attitudes more interested in what their wives have put in their lunchboxes than scoring goals...

You've just said you would agree with stan, and he's listed 9 players (in which I also agree), if that's the case I hardly see there being a "hell of a re-build".... Or is this just a case of another fan looking for another pointless dig at the club

No, there will be a lot more chopping and changing in that summer.

Pretty obvious with the amount of dross on high wages that will be out of contract with no chance of an extension.

Of course we're going to bring player's in and get rid of some, just like every other team will do in the summer. But I would hardly say we're going to do onevhell of a re-build.... we will do transfers just like everyone else... simples!!! Dont be so dramatic and negative.

Struggling how to see that is being dramatic and negative, if anything its you being the former.

We have three loan players that are regulars, and quite a few that are ageing and/or out of contract this summer. Lets be realistic, long term planning needs to begin.

Don't really fancy any of em in the prem bar Joey who will be desperate to prove himself at that leve again.

Funny the haters on here when he has his trouble, for me he stands out. Which is worrying.

100% spot on, but Harry is such a pragmatist, he doesn't really do development anymore. Serious long term would mean a complete change of mindset, and for me that is post Harry.

Definitely long term planning will need to BEGIN but not necessarily finished. IMO we're 3 maybe 4 players away from a starting 11 that will be strong for the premiership. Then after that slowly keep re-building in each transfer window.

By the way mate I wasn't having a pop at you, its just the sentence "hell of a re-building exercise all over again" seem a bit drastic. Like I said before of course we're going to have to make changes in the summer, but so will every other team... Especially if they get promoted to the premiership.

Think we missed out by not getting Wes Morgan before he went to Leicester.

                              Always liked him.
