    Belfodil to sign this weekend

According to the Gazette, Belfodil deal is nearly complete and could be unveiled this weekend even though West Brom are trying to hijack it.

I know its another paper story but only 1 i believe will happen due to no other striker is going to come. Previous threads showing not a lot want him here. I can only assume he is the best we can get.

Yeh he's toilet. Only cost Inter £7.5m in the summer and only turned 22 this month so I cant see any likely improvement in him.

To think we could've signed 40year old Kevin Phillips, a League 1 striker like Nahki Wells or a has been like Billy Sharp.

    I'm gutted :(

Maybe he's been our number one target all along! Who knows?

Trouble we may have with getting a striker in could be that they cant be guaranteed a regular starting place, ie playing 2nd fiddle to Charlie,

I know nothing about him or ntep. If im completely honest I wasnt even aware of eithers existence two weeks ago so will judge them when or if I see them play for us.

Tony suggested we are after two players. However, apart from a striker, I do not feel there is an urgency from the board to bring new players in. Tony made it clear that he will not be hold in ransom. After all, we do have players on our books that can make the difference. Harry's only concern is only to have cover for Charlie. He will still play with one striker. So nothing much will change with a new striker if, finger crossed, CA stays fit.

As I've kept saying there is still the loan market available. There will be loads of Premiership clubs with players who we could nick on loan with return clauses if need be. I'm actually glad we aren't chasing players for stupid money. Still think there will be a late move for Rhodes. It would be typical of us to do something like that.

I think we will get them both.(belifodi and ntep) I can see aj moving to the prem. how anyone can right off a player before seeing them play is beyond me. This new modern day fan is ridiculous. Would be abit of a gamble signing/ loaning these guys and hoping they will provide us as adequate cover but Harry seems to be doing a good enough job within his football cv for us to relax and enjoy the ride.... I for one will back them everytime they pull a rangers shirt on.

never heard of them before they were linked and seen a few minutes of youtube clips so i have no real idea of Belfodil or Ntep tbh. A big striker and a lively winger as these two are does make sense to me and anyway if Harry fancied these two then I hope he gets them.
imo injuries aside the biggest problem with the attack first half of the season is that too often the players act as if they want to score solo goals and that is it - I dont think they lack the ability to pass and interplay, they just dont often do it. I hope any new attackers signed judge an assist as valuable as a goal.

harry played 442 the other week maybe he wants to play 2 strikers to lift a weight of austins shoulders. hes adapted his game since he joined us. not as much of a poacher anymore but still has the instinct of course. if when of these players were linked with can play the false nine feeder role then thats fantastic
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

True enough. But getting exciting about someone you know nothing about is equally foolish.

Not really, 7.5mill from Inter for a 21year old striker gives me every reason to get excited.

I'll reserve judgement. In Harry I trust.
