Cesar, Cesar, Cesar. Get over yourselves. Who's fault is it that he's on huge wages, his? Who's fault he's not picked, his? If anyone on here says Cesar should lower his demands and move is living in cloud cuckoo land. Why should he? He's already been told he's going to the World Cup. QPR f...ed up, not him.

on top of wages there is bonus ,plus if they don't ask for a transfer there also is a loyalty bonus ,and if he came on a free a signing on fee paid over the length of his contract so when he walks out of LR 100,000 grand a week won't be far off

We may end up doing a deal and pay him the extra that other clubs won't, as a lump sum to help him leave

This is bang on. But if he want's to play football then he needs to lower his wage demands, otherwise he will be getting ZERO football up to the world cup and that can't be good for him.

Our fault we pay him too much, his fault he won't take less to move.

I just can't see Scolari picking him this summer if he spends the rest of the season languishing in our reserves. Its completely insufficient preparation and he will lose his sharpness, if he hasn't already.

Caesar is not on those numbers branded about. He's a better keeper than Murphy and can't make our bench, so to a logical mind his salary is made up massively by being in the squad. Funny that he played against Everton last week to put him in the shop window against a top premiership side but can't make our subs bench in the Championship!

The truth is that no one has come in for Caesar, if a decent offer came along, he would go, if only to save his world cup place. Can't really blame Caesar for our stupidity.

Even a player on God-knows-what would lower his demands if he truely wanted to play in the World Cup and his club won't play him, unless he was given assurances of his place in the Brazil squad no matter what happens at his club, which is what was reported he was told.

Having a pop at Cesar is like having a pop at a s..t player being picked week-in, week-out; it aint their faults. It's the clubs fault who gets paid what they do and the managers fault who plays.

Was our best player against Everton.

Possibly but I can quite easily envisage Scolari changing his mind over it if Cesar doesn't get a move this month. We can all only go on what gets reported however I would think Scolari gave that assurance given that it was highly likely Cesar would find a new club, and given the importance of the WC.
