I get that feeling to you only have to listen to the way Harry's been speaking about Cesar and Swp in the last weekComment

Bosignwa was under a contract and left. Why not Cesar. He is greedy is he. He already made a lot of money for doing nothing. Should there be any mechanism for a club to cancel such a contract?Comment

thing is... we're told that no one is/ever was on massive wages, but then when we clear a couple of players out over the summer, people on this message board start saying that we're saving £2m a month (which can only be true if people were on massive wages).
agree that the (not new) £96k must include hefty bonuses for appearences, clean sheets etc (presumably different bonuses apply for cup games),Comment

As much as I hate Bosingwa...I gave respect to him leaving...Cesar could do the sameComment

What I don't quite understand with it all is that Harry bigs him up being World Class n all that, but in the 2 League Cup games he still didn't make the Bench!!
Murphy was in goal for both I think with Green the backup.
As we are paying his wages you would think we would use him as backup to Murphy in the League Cup.Comment

Bigs him up to try and sell him. Guaranteed he'd have let in goals in those 2 games because he lacks interest (IMO)Comment
-
Still think there's something fishy with it all.
Considering his past pedigree not even the High Spending Russian Clubs have come in for him.
Defoe is apparently going to earn £80,000 a week in the MLS, Cesar would be huge in the MLS.Comment

There's even interest from Dubai for Mbia who will offer huge wages.
You would think that some league in the world would snap him up.Comment
-
Spot on....how we cant sell Brazil's number 1 even on big wages is beyond me. There are plenty of clubs around the world that could afford him.Comment
-
we need to offload many..luke young is on £30k and not played much in 2 yrs....zamora should have been retired and we get the insurance, as with young really
i dread to think waht we are paying towards loans of m'bia and granero, hopefully foolham picking up adel's tab, newky are coughing up for remy....
i'd gamble selling remy for £15-20m and using that to strengthen now to go up. as a club we have to bounce back now or face some real tough years ahead.
off loading players would have save cash too. cesar wants world cup footy, based on what training with our eds!Comment

Why give him respect? The club probably had to pay up the majority of his contract to convince him to go.
If im not mistaken he had a year left on his contract, compare that to Cesar who has 3 years remaining and would probably cost the best part of 10m (maybe even more) to terminate his contract.Comment
