he is this season's Park - player living off his previous performances.
QPR have him and now possibly Benayoun who we expect to be as good as they used to be.Comment

On his recent performances he needs to go to a health farm and if that fails next stop the knackers yardComment

Looks a shadow of the player he was at Spuds but i would say he's not the only 1 slowing us down in attacking positions. It's quite obvious our wide men are being told to come back inside rather than put in early crosses and that must be down to the manager. Yesterday we scored 2 goals from early crosses whilst the right footed Phillips cut back onto his left foot a number of times creating very little by changing the angle of the cross only really succeding in slowing our attacking moves down.Comment

Obviously weren't at Millwall or Blackpool away, nor Boro at home then?
I agree Niko is very slow & turns like an oiler tanker, but the bloke is by far & away our most creative player. Without him we look clueless in the final third with nobody seemingly able to make a forward pass.Last edited by MattyRangers; 03-01-2014, 10:20 AM.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

Not sure about that at all Matty, would be the complete opposite imo.
We have the players capable of playing a direct, in your face, pressure, attacking style of play but Harry seems to only resort to that in the last 30 odd minutes of certain games.Comment

Agree mate we do have players capable, but those players don't do it. My comments were based on what I've seen this season, prime example being Blackpool away where we had no clue at all until Niko came on & totally changed the game pulling the strings in the middle. I was away for the B'burn home game the week before but my pals reckon it was the same story there n all. As I say, I can understand some of his criticisms as he is bl00dy slow, but IMO anyway, we rely on him massively to create anything. He gets a majority of the balls out wide to Phillips. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

This is the problem when signing experience. people expect players like krankjar and benhyoun to play like they did 5 or 6 years ago.Looks a shadow of the player he was at Spuds but i would say he's not the only 1 slowing us down in attacking positions. It's quite obvious our wide men are being told to come back inside rather than put in early crosses and that must be down to the manager.
