That's my view too. Why play him in the reserves if he's not in our plans. That's what the reserves are for innit?

        Waiting patiently.
Jimmy, it just feels so f**king desperate to recall those QPR failures of last season: Diakite, Granero, Park, Bosingwa, M'Bia. In fact I think Bosingwa had more good games than Diakite. He just proved to have a bad karma and mentally weak and I think Diakite belongs to the same category.

I admit Diakite had some fine moments when he run forward looking grand and valiant like Russel Crowe riding a horse in the Gladiator. Reminded my old favorite Redondo. But those were just short glimses, 80 % of the time he was just s**t - loosing ball, being late or misplaced and making stupid tacles.

I don't think Hoilett or O'Neil has had a good game with us, but they play different place than Diakite. We are short of good players there. I would play Carroll, who admittedly has been very poor as well. But he is young and has some potential and may improve. If not him, then a new signing.

If Harry things Diakite is good enough and gives him a try, it's ok and could be interesting. At the moment he seems to be very far away, haven't been even on the bench.

Just another midfielder, whether he's better than Hoilet, Carroll, O'Neil, Henry etc is irrelevant. We need to sort out the source of the problem before we even think of bringing any more midfielder's in and that is bring a striker in.

Hoilet might waist a lot of chances but what about the times when Ecotto, Jenas, Barton, kranjcar etc put balls into the box... nothing!!!

IMHO if we bring Diakite (or any other midfielder) in not a lot will change.

The difference between the names mentioned and Diakite is he has at some stage performed for us, unlike the others, good player and worth a shout!
            Kept the faith!

Play him more versatile then Carroll and does have the ability to change a game

But if/when he does play let's remember he's had more or less one game in 12months so let's give him 3 or 4 games to get up to speed before we do our usual and turn against him

Fella's total and complete rubbish. I'd have sold him at a loss last summer. But I'd play him tomorrow...... That's how bad things are.

                    Needs to play.

I'd back him in a slightly advanced role because his tackling is a bit dodge to say the least.

At least he is a driving force and makes 'forward' runs. We don't have anyone with the physical presence to achieve this with the current players.
Ok he might give the ball away but more than likely he might make something happen and pace and power is hard to stop. Even if he just draws a few players out of their positions that's half the battle complete.

Also to compare him to m'bia is false, diakite has shown he actually has ability.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Good shout plus everyone always goes on about him giving away fouls but from memory given he runs at players he also used to win his fair amount which could come in handy in and around the box if he can draw fouls

If that's one bad game he have played (Diakite only played once this season) then what Harry should do with BZ, giving he played more then once and was s.....in all those games?

There is a very good chance the likes of Diakite and Luke Young will feature against Everton. Would love to see Diakite given the chance, but if he has another mare, then its adios my friend.

got to be played central mid though....not on the wing, full back, upfront or centre back. Centre mid!!

Agree, no point playing him unless it's where he excels in centre midfield.
