Would welcome others opinion on him. Decent defender but must be the worst attacking fullback around. Never beats his man, always turns back and on the rare occasion he does cross the ball it is pathetic. Also doesn't help our attacking options one bit!

Seems unable to put a cross into the box. You cannot question his defending its tip top but going forward he is non existent. The amount of times the ball is laid back to him and is asking to be put in first time only for him to pass it backwards is of major concern -
Party boy lets too many crosses in for me as well. Fullback should stop crosses into box. Better then last years right back though 🙈Comment

This. I, personally, think that we could go through the team & find flaws in all their games and seek replacements. But, for me, the defensive 5 are doing their job just fine - it's those 6 further forward that need to be addressed.
I would say Simpson is our POTY for the first half of the season tbh, steady eddie that does his job week in week out without doing anything amazing - just what we need in a defender IMO.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment
