    Andy Johnson

The bloke is an absolute joke, 3 games ago he played a blinder, they hes injured again..........can only play 10 - 15 mis. what a dopey signing he is the ultimate sicknote .

No wonder they were trying to drive him to Selhurst Park in the summer

I was puzzled why we signed him, we knew this would happen. He's a good player but not worth it for a few games a season.

I hope we can get rid of him and use that money wisely.

Must be on 40-60k a week.

That sort of wage for a player with his injury record should never have been sanctioned.

I like Johnson he is a quality player when fit which seems very seldom these days, Charlie really needs help ! Maybe we'll let him go to Palace if they come calling this transfer window, not likely to play too many games for them either, but we need to get in another striker to come in along side Austin when plan A isn't working, problem is we don't seem to have a plan B?

On the plus side, according to Wiki, his contract is up in the summer, please god they don't renew it.

Also, so are Zamora's, SWP's and Traore's contracts

I wonder how much money that saves the club?

On the down side, Diakite and The Brazilian leech are here to summer 2016 though.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

If we get Nahki Wells or any striker, we should get rid of Johnson although I like watching him but again he is injury prone.

The question is will Crystal Palace really be interested in him again?

Calling Johnson a joke is a bit harsh, he's done well when he's played and I don't think you can fault the guys attitude at all. Also I'm pretty certain that his salary is nothing like the 40-60k that you mentioned, I think he was one of the few players from the Premiership squad that we could easily afford in this league.

Unfortunately he is just carrying too many injuries and probably needs to retire. If Palace are daft enough to take him off our wage bill we should jump all over the opportunity!

As good a player as AJ is, and he is a good player, his injury record is such that he can't be considered a reliable squad member.

Shame really because he'd probably score loads in this division.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I have no doubt he is on 40 minimum.

Arrived during our time in the premier league, from another premier league team on a free transfer. Without a transfer fee involved, agents can always negotiate a far better weekly wage.

The word on the street is that Harry has unofficially said Zamora and AJ's futures both lie elsewhere.

Quite clear that he's not fancied give that AJ would of gone to Palace if Harry had brought in the 2nd striker hadn't of fell through at the eleventh hour on the last transfer window deadline.

A back problem, apparently. No idea how serious. Back problems are hard to diagnose though and have a tendency to flare up again from time to time. Just saying......
