Completely agree. Left wing is not limited to Holliet or O'Neil. SWP could out in a shift there. Even f acking Traore....

Good little cameo from Benayoun, that bit on the right where he nicked the ball off the defender and put Charlie in for a shot was good and his general touches were fine too.
With him and Niko and Carroll and JJ there is enough creativity in the midfield - whats missing is the guys to pull the trigger up top

Can you tell me what he done right yesterday? Thought he was dreadful. Had a few good chances resulting in weak efforts each time. Either turns back and plays a five yard pass or loses the ball when trying to go forward. At least holiett gets at his man. Thought he done ok when he came on.Originally posted by MattyRangers View PostThis.
O'Neil was shocking at Blackpool and so I was surprised he started ahead of Jenas (who had a good game at Blackpool), but O'Neil was solid in the first half yesterday, can't remember him really doing much wrong at all - just seems he falls into that category of those easily criticised. As you say, he's not the sort to take on 4 players and pop one in top bins, but he's a steady player that will give 110% - reminds me a bit of Tommy Smith tbh.
Hoillett was absolute garbage when he came on yesterday and, tbh, I've reached the point with him now that I would rather be seeing SWP play.
I do winder if half the people on here actually go to the games or just say they do to try and make them a "better fan"

I usually like O'Neill Matty but I thought he was poor. Short passes all over the pitch and the ones that did reach their destination were negative ones also could not have argued if he had gone early on for his two footed challenge but worse of all he walked on to a cut back ball and should have buried it and put us one up but he literally passed it back to the keeper. That effort at goal summarises why Austin is the only player amongst the goals as a chance like that if it does not go in should see the keeper pulling off an amazing save to keep it out but to stroke it at goal is criminal and if it continues could cost us come the end of the seasonOriginally posted by MattyRangers View PostThis.

I'd only play O'Neil on the right which is where he been best for us. But that precludes Phillips who deserves a run of games. Pretty sure O'Neil will despite for Joey at ForestOriginally posted by hooploft View PostYeah without doubt just slightly differing views on somethings ,
with J B being banned do you see O'niell getting that deeper more central loan

Phillips got to get a lot of playing time there's a real player in there that will come out with confidence of a 1st team regularOriginally posted by Rangers77 View PostI'd only play O'Neil on the right which is where he been best for us.
