some people forget that part. The club got it's name from being located in Queen's Park which is in NW London.

I am looking forward to the move and having a big catchment area to attract new fans. NW London does not have a professional club...yet. Just think of all those potential new fans QPR can attract by being a successful Premiership club.

Great point. There's Barnet FC in Edgware, but watching Conference football can only take you so far. Then there's Watford FC, which is technically out of London, more Hertfordshire out in the sticks and more North London. Leaving a void for top flight footy in North West London.

With the professional QPR YouTube videos, immense communication from TF and the board, New North West London facilities and stadium, there will be new supporters of QPR for sure.

The article failed to address a key perception: namely that revenue is far more rights dependent than bums on seats dependent for a club like ours. I'll wager good money that the average gate at OOC will not be more than 5% above LR.

It is ludicrous to think that moving a mile and a half down the road will give us a new constituency.

I see what you mean. However, naturally any move to a new Stadium will incur Financial hardships to clubs initially, just look at Arsenal's ground move from Highbury, who seem to have paid the mortgage off on the Emirates and can now relax in the knowledge that they are run in a finacially stable stadium.

It's the whole build it and they will come...and it's being built on the Bakerloo line (Willesden Junction) where many North West Londoners from Queens Park to Wembley etc can get to now, whereas the Central Line and Hammersmith and City lines were difficult to get onto - but hopefully fans of the W12 can still walk to.

Not ludicrous, more miraculous that we have found this space for our new stadium. Still pinching meself as to how lucky we are - moving closer to spiritual home of Queens Park as the original North West London team with a NW postcode (Watford =WD, Barnet=HA or EN if they move back to Underhill). Just hope we can start building soon, before anything could stifle this project. Bright times for QPR At last. The sleeping hooped giant is awakening!

all this stuff about postcodes is a nonsense - our club predates them. We are Queens Park Rangers and the move would take us nearer to our origin. Anyway, for me, its not so much about the place as the people who link to it -and our club- in one way or another. A postcode is a dividing line which has purely administrative importance and should not concern us at all.
