Any chance of a cheeky £6m bid in the Jan transfer window if we are still top, as there is sure to be Prem interest? Perhaps throwing in a couple of our donkeys as part exchange? Looks so comfortable on the ball, always got that extra yard, different level altogether to the rest of his teammates. Must be v frustrating for him and Blackpool must realise now they don't look like making the play offs.

think there was some prem interest but he was loyal because of his dad. i first noticed him two or three years ago (admittedly because of the name) and you didn't need to be Jose Mourinho to spot that he had talent. I said at the time we should buy him for the future. Instead Hughes bought a load of journeymen. The point is you wouldn't have minded so much going down with some players like that in the side because they had a future. Be amazed if he isn't playing in the prem next season one way or another.Comment
