I just realised Nigel Spackman lives in my block...

...and I had no idea until about 10 minutes ago! I've only lived here for the past 4 years.

I was googling some football news and his picture randomly came up. I was thinking, hold on a minute, I recognise this chap. And fuk me, it was indeed the guy who I occasionally chat to in the communal areas.

I've been watching some video's of him for the past 10 minutes to confirm it's him, and yes, it ****** well is.

I'm a young'un (compared to some of you on here!) so I never saw him play for us. Was he any good?

What do I say to him next time I see him? I feel a bit star struck now!

I cant be 100% on this, but I'm pretty sure he's single/lives on his own.

I dont see him often enough to notice his hair, but its something like this I think:

Anyone remember how he did for us? Assume not too well and he was here less then a season?

A quick Google reveals that he was married to a lady called Nicola (don't know if he still is) and they had 3 children - a daughter, who must be in her mid 20's and twins (boy & girl) who would be about 19 now. The boy developed jaundice, shortly after birth. He wasn't treated quickly enough & this resulted in brain damage, leaving the child with cerebral palsy. In 2005, the family won £3 million in compensation, from the hospital that blundered.

                Sad story.

Hate to be pedantic but you win games prizes and competitions; awarded perhaps? Sure there's a better term out there

Technically Acton, but I'm on the edge of Chiswick basically - so yes, lets just say Chiswick. Sounds better. Its about a 15min walk to Chiswick High Rd from where I live.
