At the moment, we are scoring 2.15 pts a game which will give us 99, and would have promoted us every season. It's still early days I know, but our squad is probably one of the strongest that will survive the season better than other teams after injuries and suspensions.

Or in more simpler terms, about 4 pts every 2 games, like 3 at home and 1 away, will be enough, 92 pts. So no need to PANIC yet.

It's roughly the same as 2 pts every game. Atm, 13 games = 26 pts, we have 28.

Good post. Unfortunately, we fans judge things game by game. After the Swindon defeat we were doomed. After we broke the cs record we were invincible. Now after the last 3 games, we will struggle to make the playoffs.

1 defeat in 13 games is an amazing return. We will get promoted beating everyone else, and not just our supposed rivals.

I thought that Austin did miss a sitter first half but in fairness the problem is not that we don't have a scoring striker simply that for all the possession we have we do not put the ball in the box enough - and before anyone says Adel he is not the answer

Depends on how you judge our form; going on the last three games, which is an accurate record of our current form, that would be 2 pts every three games, which would fall way short of promotion form. We need to demonstrate that we can replicate our early season form, or win a few games.

And some teams will fall away and some will improve. Will Burnley and Leicester cope with losing the odd star players now and then? We are one of the strongest squads in the league. We are 3rd after more than a 1/4 of games and we are scoring goals, albeit not many.
