    The harsh truth

Everyone's been saying this board's been quiet lately 'cos there's been little to moan about. More likely because there's been little to actually talk about. Boringly productive with more than our share of luck. Now reality is setting in.

Harry's been doing the media rounds with his new book, conveniently released when QPR are top of the league. Maybe he's lost focus. He's been cockily said he's not looking to bring anyone in during the transfer window. Watch that change as QPR struggle to maintain a place in the play-offs come Xmas. Old habits die hard.

Spurs played marauding football under Harry. For some reason he's deploying the complete opposite at QPR. Just once in the whole of 2013 have we scored more than twice in a game. Sometimes we've struggled to earn none.

    Some thoughts on our players;

    Green/Hill/Dunne/Onuoha/Simpson - Like
    BAE - The new Bosingwa
    Barton - over-rated
    O'Neill/Henry - Couldn't pick a telling pass between them
    Hoilett - Gash
Tom Carroll - Highly rated, time will tell.
Krancjar - No legs. Buzsaky MkII. Don't notice him unless he's trying a worldy.
Austin - Had 18 goals this time last season for Burnley. Feeding off scraps.
Phillips - £4m for a player with injury/fitness issues. Risky business.
Johnson - Like. Shame about his knees.
    Zamora - Finished.
SWP - Going the same way as Zamora.
Onyewu/Chevanton - free agents are for a reason.

Cesar/Traore/Young/Suk-Young/Jenas/Diakite/Ephrain/Faurlin and countless others - surplus/crocked at a cost of 500k a week in wages, which we contribute to.

I see the bring back Taraabt campaign has now started, as predicted.
He would win us the league.
    No one else will.

Harsh ratings considering our 1st defeat of season.
Might as well quit now, as we are stuck with all of them now!!

Seriously, BAE has one bad match and he becomes the new bosingwa, give it a rest m8 he has been one of most consistent performers so far this season. As for Onyewu and Chevanton, neither of them have started a match and Chevanton has come on when matches were dead and buried. Also It is hypocritical to say free agents are for a reason and the forget that Simpson was a free agent. Don't judge what you haven't seen. There is a reason that Onyewu has played for Milan and Sporting and is expected to go to the world cup next year. How can you say now reality is setting in when we have just lost our first match of the season to the most in form team in the league and joint with Arsenal in the country. The reality is that we have a match in hand that would put us right back in the position where we were before the defeat so your points are a bit poorly thought out.

BAE looks to me a bit of a stroller, time will tell.
Onyewu and Chevanton were free agents, indeed like Simpson. Being a free agent in October tells them apart.
My views have nothing to do with our first defeat, has been forming over weeks.

I'll re-visit this post in a couple of months.

Potentially to coincide with our next defeat?
