            Good spot. I remember this chap, highly rated and was at AC Milan at one point. Doesnt seem to have done much recently though. But at 6"4, beastly.

              The ex Hearts guy might be out of the picture now? I wonder if this is a Steve Mc link, he had a season on loan at FC Twente.

                I know this player well. Big strong player but doesn't have the greatest touch and positional sense. Got exposed badly at 2006 world cup and had a bad spell with Newcastle. Probably on par with say Anton Ferdinand. Championship player at best. Currently without a club

                  looking at clubs he's been at he can't be too bad as a backup to a championship defence. plus with dunne and hill there he'll be organised better.

                      Played for AC Milan and in a World Cup yet on a par with Anton Ferdinand?
                      You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

                          afraid so Matty. Klinnsman does not rate him as he's been dropped from national team. BTW, never saw the field for AC Milan. Maybe with some proper coaching 'arry can make him into a proper defender :}

                            I used to really like the player, if he's anything like he used to be then the word is 'gem'
                            Under Les Ferdinand:
                            Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
                            Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
                            Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
                            Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                            And many more mistakes

                            LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
