must say most sundays i only read the news of the world and the upminster post..........never much coverage of the r's in either..........but i stand by my opinion that if we lose say 2-0 or 3-0 jimmy mag may be out...........its a sad reflection on our club yes but a reputation that wont go away!!!

However, I do agree that talk of sacking the manager doesn't help and if anything only encourages Flavio in an area where he needs no encouragment. Even more than success we need a period of stability.

I get what your saying, but the media have a massive effect on peoples thoughts, decisions, and ultimatley peoples feelings towards clubs, celebs etc..

Basically we were touted in the media as having sacked 5 or so managers in whatever time frame, when infact only 2 or 3 had been sacked, and it was in a much longer time period....

Now i agree we have shot ourselves in the foot on more than a few occasions, but, people do believe what they read, i remeber the peterborough chairman making some comments about us in the summer(while we were interested in fergie jnr), he said what he said to make us look bad, people hear it, people believe it!
