To be honest I can't think that anyone associated with the England team would be too happy with what Joey said and he's got no business talking about Ferguson. He should leave all the chat to the pundits!

Dont think he gives a **** what the England lot think about what he said..he is spot on they are sh1t and like a lot of other English football fans i dont care whether they win/lose/draw as i dont even bother to watch them even on TV anymore. Dont think Joey is going to ruin his chances for an England call up although tbf he couldnt do a lot worse than the current lot of mugs in the team.

Don't disagree with any of that, a decent professional probably wouldn't want to be quoted saying all that though. It's ok for you and me to say it on here or down the pub but a professional footballer would do better to keep his mouth shut and avoid the media attention!

Hmmm disagree with most of that. I think its refreshing to hear a player say what he thinks instead of what he thinks people want to hear. If you disagree with Barton's views then fair enough but cant slate him for them. Seems to have mellowed and matured a bit and has been one of our best players this season so long may it continue. Agree mate. I was one of Bartons biggest critics, couldnt stand the bloke. But the way he has applied himself this season on and off the field has changed my view, and long may it continue. I do stand by what I said before he changed my view of him though. That said, theres definitely no middle ground with the bloke, you either like him or hate him.

I found the video ,pretty entertaining and in all honesty ,as long as he keeps giving his all for QPR ,i couldnt care less what he says.
Everyone knows that if you stick a microphone under he`s nose ,you are going to get something controversial/stupid/honest depending on what mood he`s in , and because he`s always at it ,although it makes news ,i dont anyone really takes it seriously.
