listen i have been on this planet for 45years and watched and supported England passionately in all that time and we've won bugger all and all the hype and expectations that go with it to be badly let down it gets a bit tiring but will not pass my negativity on to my 2 boys 10 and 7 cos they like watching England. I will not watch England now until we get to a semi final but i will always always want us to win.

But we support QPR - are they not similar to England in the way that they don't win a lot and have had players accussed of no passion and not putting a shift in over the years (something I thing is thrown about way to much when a player is off form TBH).Originally posted by shanns View Postlisten i have been on this planet for 45years and watched and supported England passionately in all that time and we've won bugger all and all the hype and expectations that go with it to be badly let down it gets a bit tiring but will not pass my negativity on to my 2 boys 10 and 7 cos they like watching England. England and Club football are not mutually exclusive, you can like both, and it isn't only about winning, just like it isn't at QPR.Last edited by silvercue; 11-10-2013, 08:51 AM.

Difference is QPR are full of QPR players while England is full of the likes of scum , Man Utd etc.... Just cannot bring myself to wish any good will on the likes of Lampard, Rooney, Cahill, Cole, Young etc. It was different 20 or 30 years ago when the players would run their heart out for their country and be as passionate as the fans. Havent worn my England shirt or watched a game since the South Africa world cup when the players made it plain they dont give a toss...so why should i?Originally posted by silvercue View PostBut we support QPR - are they not similar to England in the way that they don't win a lot and have had players accussed of no passion and not putting a shift in over the years (something I thing is thrown about way to much when a player is off form TBH).
