He did well v Brighton as well after getting booked - he seemed to have lost it until Hill calmed him down. Even then, I feared he'd look for revenge.
I think this is why Harry used him as sub in the Yeovil game, and it seemed to work. I think Joey and the management team all get on together which for Joey I think is unusual.

I thought that second half. Wasn't a clash during the game & he seemed to drop holding his face just after the ball was cleared. Didn't seem to make much of it though so maybe not?

How shIite was that ref by the way? Christ some of his decisions to let play go on whilst Boro blatantly hacked our players was a disgrace.

Tbh I have always liked Joey Barton. I have a lot of identification with his character.
The older I get the more chilled out I have become. I think it is fair to say that a lot of lads at football got involved in some kind of aggro,
especially back in the 80's when it was kicking off every week for fun. A lot of lads are finally maturing, I myself have definitely sorted out my temperament
and anger issues. It looks like Joey is doing the same.
I said in another post that I met Joey and Charlie Austin briefly on the train home from Leeds. They both were down to earth proper ambassadors for QPR.
For anyone to judge another man for what he has done and hold it against them forever is no better a person in my eyes.
If have a feeling Joey will see this season out with us, I am fully behind him.

          Excellent post Ed.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
