If you don't want an escort then take a bowl down from Surrey Quays, Canada Water, Rotherhithe, or even venture in by bus from Peckham or Blackheath or Deptford.

Always been unreserved when I have been there so don't see why it will change

On the coach £25 seems steep but if it allows people to go who would otherwise give the game the swerve because there worried about queensbury rules no harm done.
