Maybe top but not one convincing display as yet,the surprising thing is we are playing with no real penetration and are riding our luck and the other teams are beating each other. I think we will be hard to stop but its not gonna be entertaining.

Stoke and West Ham ain't entertaining but they are getting results that keep them in the prem.That's all that matters.Take scrappy wins over fancy tippy tappy draws.Don't need to score loads of goals,still only get 3 points.

Depends what you want for your money. To go to 46 games this season and spend best part of 3k I want a bit of excitement

This is more or less a new team this season, they say it takes about 6 games for a team to really gel.
Plus we have recently added BAE, Kranjkar and Carroll.
With 2 new strikers on the way, its gonna take time.
I'm happy where we are at the moment, a lot of improvement is needed.
We can't complain about being where we are.

I'd take every 1-0 too. But you can't scrape wins all season..... You've gotta eventually score more than eight goals in eight games.....

Another way to look at it...
Fans say about when we have to play Forest, Leicester etc.
Well if they don't score against us then it's Job Done!!!

That time will come, we are only 8 games into a 46 game season.
There's nothing to complain about this early with what we have achieved so far!!!

Try telling that to those who only see negative things in our performances.Can't believe people are so concerned about how we play when all that matters is results.This league is as wide open as it gets.Anyone can beat anyone,as Millwall showed against Blackpool the other day.

Just concentrate on results and don't think that we need to win every game convincingly to be champions,as all the top teams will lose to the bottom teams over the course of a season.

Just wonder if any of our rivals would be happy to swap with us, or would they be downhearted as well!!!

I am amazed that we can be top of the league and still people moan and ain't happy.

I don't see anybody saying they want to batter teams its just some haven't got there blinkers on and can see we are in a false position with regards to our performances. Yes we are all happy at being top of the league but it would be a lot better if we were dominating teams and winning 1-0 as then you could say we deserve to be there but some of our performances have been poor and if some can't see past the result then there gonna get a shock before long

Honestly assessing your team's weaknesses and then working to strengthen and improve the team's performance is what actually wins competitions. Being happy to complacently sit back and celebrate being top of the league- this early on- can damn early performers to sliding down said league.....
