How does crouch fit in anyway? Surely it will just encourage booting the ball into the box from the half way line, instead of build up play that harry has said he prefers.

Said it wouldn't take lone before it came out. Harry was trying hard and Crouch wanted to come but Stoke couldn't get there target in which stopped this deal and AJ going to Palace. Only hope now is Crouch not being named in their 25 man squad which is unlikely IMO.
