Vaz te is a walking ego and liability. The exact type we have been trying to avoid. No thanks!

I really think we will see def 1 maybe 2 strikers come in.... and i am sure we can pick players up on free transfers... maybe Baird as defensive cover...

On that official link it says we can only loan players from one window to the next ie now till jan. How do clubs manage to do season long loans then? Also do prem clubs have the emergency loan system too? Just a bit confused

You'll find the answer in the article you read...

"Clubs can only sign long term temporary transfers (i.e. August to May) whilst the summer window is open."

Yes exactly this, that is why we got our ones done within yesterdays timeframe.

The loan window opens on Tuesday 10th September... I wonder if we will look to bolster the striking options straight away... esp whilst there is an international break...

My view is that Baird will sign on a free transfer next week, and we will loan a striker from somewhere.

Also I reckon Cesar, Diakte and Ephraim will go out on loan too.

Ephraim maybe, but Cesar and Diakite to Championship clubs or below, don't think so.

A striker to break up defences and create space would make the biggest difference. Reckon a lot of teams will defend in numbers at Loftus Road. Zamora is the current striker for that role but his injuries hamper him. Someone on the bench who can mix things up and create space. Maybe Crouch on loan, Adebayor, even Carlton Cole would provide it too when a stubborn defence cannot be broken by the flair.
