I was impressed that when he scored on Saturday (which he definitely did), he did not remonstrate too much when the goal wasn't given.Originally posted by HoopDoggyDogg View PostWhat's in the past is in the past with Barton as far as I am concerned.
Has come back this season and given his all.
Looks like he is enjoying it as well.

Joey does seem to have changed lets hope it lasts, maybe something to do with no adel ?Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Newsflash: Midfielders on £70k/pw who were supposed to lead their sides into the top10 of the PL tend to look good in the Championship.
All this 'knuckling down', 'top attitude', 'working for the team now' stuff is nonsense. He had the same attitude back in January 2012 when he couldn't pass the ball to a hooped shirt to save his life. It wasn't as bad as people said it was then, and it isn't as good now.
The difference is he's playing against Karl Henry types every week rather than Yaya Toure.

Which is exactly why he looks to be one of our better playes so far this season and personally i like his attitude and the spirit he shows on the pitch. Need a bit of fight and aggression in this league and for that Barton is the man to have in CM. Long may his form continue. Well done Joey.Originally posted by Geng View PostNewsflash: Midfielders on £70k/pw who were supposed to lead their sides into the top10 of the PL tend to look good in the Championship.
