From memory, Jerome's record in the Championship for Birmingham was medicore at best. Would much rather we got a CB in than another average striker.

If we cannot get Adebayor, we will get Robbie Keane, you heard it here first! He's in London and is keen

To be fair both Jerome and Jones at Stoke can be unplayable and would be great signings for any Championship club. I'd go as far as to say i'd take either ahead of Crouch but not at the cost of losing Hoilett.

            Just some more confirmation:
@TransfersToBe: QPR will move for Robbie Keane if Adebayor cannot be completed, Keane has arrived in London and is keen on the deal. #QPR

Robbie Keane so hang on we go from Defoe to Keane lol

Please god lets hope AJ stays if this is his replacement. Keane was ok about 7 years ago, plying is trade in america should be the hint for staying well clear.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Probably would be a better target man than Zamora but from my recollection of Jerome he has an appalling goalscoring record

Think he's scored more than 10 goals a season twice in his career. Doesn't tell the whole story of course, but last time he was in this division I think he averaged 8 goals a season.

So we end up getting somebody slightly better than Zamora, why bother with those 2 and go after the Bradford guy or sharp or Crouch or somebody half decent

Ideally none of them really. get a hungry young striker in permanently, and then really hit the loan market for defensive cover. Worried we are spending our time chasing another striker, fighting other clubs for the dubious honour of being Jerome's/keane's next club and leaving the defense to miraculously not get an injury or suspension all season long.
