We definitely need another centre-back. We've only got 3 recognised centre-backs in the entire squad and they're all starters (Hill playing at left-back)

One who's almost 35 and another who's almost 34 and spent all last season out injured. Some have also suggested that if Simpson is injured then Ned could play at RB.

It would be a huge gamble to stick with what we have in defence.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Here's a quote from HR and indicates he's going to do some business with the defence:

“We’ve not got a big squad; 18 players have left so we need to improve the squad. We have three central defenders on our books so there are still areas we can strengthen and we’ll do that in the next few days.”
