me, injury prone and speaking from personal experience you never come back the same player after a serious injury.

cook had the worst season ive ever seen him have last year...

if he comes back great and i hope he does..

however i dont see him pushing buz or taarabt out of the matchday squad.

hell gonna be a struggle for him to push ephraim out.

but if he does fair play to him..
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
          Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Not me either.......... if he's been playing with knee pain all of last season, and he's now confident that his knee is fixed, he'll hopefully come back really well.

he'll struggle to get in the starting eleven unless we get an injury and if we do get an injury it'll probably be him

Not me. Best Left sided midfielder we've got ...best final ball delivery we've got ...he was poor (but not as poor as many make out) last season but I saw many a great cross from Cookie where we had no one in the box to get on the end of it!

i am, one good season 3 years ago and done nothing since....

injury prone, knees are clearly shot which is a shame at his age but unfortunately sentiment alone doesnt justify his 5 figure a week salary

The lad cares so much about the club I really hope he comes back from this injury lets face facts we have not really had the best out of Cookie since he returned

Why are his knees shot from one injury? ....does this mean we should also write off Buzz and Rowlands as there knee's must be shot as well based on that assumption?

I live near Wycombe and lots of people I know claim to know him. last week one of them said to me pitty about Lee Cook, so I said what are you on about his op was a success. To which the bloke said not what he had heard and he won't play again. But like I said lots of people claim to know him round here.
                              RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat
