    Anyone feeling gutted..

Anyone feeling gutted about going out of the Capital One Cup? I can understand that some fans like a cup run but for me it's all about the league. Hopefully the players will now be determined to bounce back immediately by getting the 3 points against Leeds on Saturday. I'd prefer a win against Leeds than a going through tonight

A familiar feeling of resigned disappointment.

Always hope these games will turn out differently, but after 20 mins, you just know that it's going the same way as usual.

We have been sh*t in cup comps for years,it never changes.
The League is more important, but as long as we bounce back from tonight and remain unbeaten on Saturday.
Fans go on that the squad isn't good enough, but we have the best squad in the league on paper

I would like a cup run, but to be honest now we know how swallow the squad is can we afford the extra fixtures !!

Swindon always had the potential to get a result, Harry played a weakened team so it tells me that the club was not interested in progressing !

I don't feel that upset, only thing that bugs me is I wouldn't want it to damage anyone's confidence. If we went through and got knocked out by a prem side you can accept it, you just worry about one or two and their confidence.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

I think if we had played the first team and still lost it would be worse. At least they have that as an excuse.

This exactly. I don't know why we even bother to play; we should just hand our opponents passage into the next round and save everybody a lot of time and expense.

                        I am gutted.
There has to be more about our club's existence, other than just trying to get promoted to a league we can never win, and only hope to survive in.
Personally, I want some of what the class of '67 got.....And why not, eh?

I've been waiting for more than 10 years to have a cup run but it never happened no matter what team we put whether 1st team or players from the bench. They never care. It's time to play a team full of youngsters, maybe the EDS team. At least they will do their best to impress the manager.

Best squad on paper. You must be looking at past reputation of players when the older ones were in their prime. Rose tinted glasses I am afraid. Just like last season comments.
