Best curry house near LR?

The only one I know is on the Uxbridge Road about 100 yards up (towards S B Green) from Blomfentein Road. It's OK but nothing special.

I'm bringing 3 mates (potential converts) to the Palace game and they want to have a curry beforehand. I normally park in White City first so it needs to be within walking distance. Any ideas?

Theres Curry Express on wood lane. Next to the Pavillion pub, not bad in there

I normally have me curry after beers at the end of the night rather than before, otherwise im talking to birds with curry breath/burps.

Ajanta

The Ajanta in Goldhawk Road - about three shops down from Shepherd's Bush Green is (IMHO) the best curry house in West London. Seriously. I live in Reigate and it's the only curry house I'll go to if I'm anywhere near West London.
