He never got us promoted it was an overall team effort, he contributed yes but he was far from doing it alone and he had two appalling seasons in the top slight

In answer to question to OP had Hughes stayed we would have certainly gone down and honestly do not think we would have won one game under him last season let alone four

Think you'll find that he was the main contributor both with goals and assists ... Without him we would not have been promoted IMO

Of course it's a team effort but he was the player that shone

As you say mate contributor not sole reason. Had Derry not done his dirty work we would have been ripped up, had Paddy not been solid for the season we would have dropped more points had Helguson not found form we would not have been so potent up top

Not a dig at you mate but I am fed up hearing Adel got us promoted as that's giving him way to much credit as it was a team effort. Was he influential indeed he was but there was plenty going on around him which one made him look as effective as he did and two played an equally important role as one individual

Phillips, SWP and Hoilett will create plenty of chances from the wings, but we could probably do with a creative central midfielder. I'm not too concerned though

Yeah no worries ... I'm no adel lover but I appreciate what he did for us that season.

Agreed that everyone put a shift in but he did give us that extra bit of quality which got us up there..

Jesus. I'm fed up of reading these mundane threads.We are trying to get promoted from the 2nd division not qualify for the champions league. Our squad is very strong in a division of mediocre sides. A few tricky away games but other than that we are more than equipped to do the job. Promoted by easter

We do need another good striker to be sure,he could make the difference between play offs lottery and automatic promotion

i belive that so far we have under achived if i am honest,
main reason being that we seem just a bit disjointed but harry has stated a few times that we are far from the finished article, lets face it the team has not had long to gel so taking this in to consideration we have done well.
i just hope i am at loftus road the day things start to heat up as i recon not to soon in the future we are going to realy spank some teams hard.
