At the end of the day...

If we signed JD that would be one of the best deals TF and the board have ever done

We cant knock them for not trying..

And IF JD does end up at another prem club. We again cant complain... Its common knowledge that hes up for sale..

defoe is 7/1 to join us. 2/1 with west ham.

And if Defoe leaves Spurs an EPL club will offer more money for him and more wages same as Fulham did with Parker. So why would this outcome be any different?
If you believe that then its safe to label your views on betting are slightly crazy. They are in the market to make money and don't throw away crazy prices for long.

As I said before we might have a chance while no Premiership club is interested in him, but if that changes then you can rule us out.

Defoe will be a far more appealing prem player than Parker to the majority of prem sides, because the simple fact is he guarantees goals, which is gold in the prem compared to Parker's defensive midfield abilities being copper.....

Basically, if its made 100% clear they want to offload, there will be plenty of sides trying their luck and he wont come to th championship.

My thoughts exactly. At least they are willing to make signings of this nature. Other clubs only dream of being linked to these players.

No chance unless he's lost all ambition. World Cup year and he would walk into most Premier League starting XIs.

For me the type of deal we should try to pull over one or two days before the end of the window when he ha had no other offers is desperate for a move and also gives less time for others to scupper it.

A 20 bet would swing the odds on a market like that.

Damm, wish I had seen your comment sooner.Once I heard this news, told the missus that holiday to Bognor on hold and put all the saved holiday camping money on this....Could make the difference from a 4 star caravan in Bognor or a Villa in Menorca.Looks like I will be staying at home.I will never learn ! Wasted Christmas money on Hooper and the syndicate lottery money on Parker.

With WHU & Stoke interested we have no chance of getting Defoe. he'll want to go to a prem club with the World cup comming (not that England will Qualify, because we're kack) simply because of that reason! Woy will thell him that? but if he went to Maerk Usless's team may have a chance of getting Crouch?
