I would rather keep Barton anyway as a far more creative player. With our squad in this league, we shouldn't need a Scott PArker to sit in front of the defence.

Add to that , he's past his best, not proved himself since bad injury, and gets injured far more regularly nowadays... do we really need a midfield destroyer that's fragile.....????

I can't help thinking that harry had no intention of signing him, it was all a game to help Levy to get rid of him in exchange for selling/loaning us townsend. Harry is a good wheeler-dealer and wouldn't put it past him
