My Spurs mate who has just come round reckons part of the deal in Townsend going to QPR will see Cesar + Cash move the other way.
Friedel wants 1st team football and is likely to leave next week, so Cesar will be No2

The problem is Spurs won't want to pay Cesar what he is earning here, and so he won't move.

Why the wibble would the brazilian number 1 want to be 2nd fiddle to some french twonk? More chance of Spurs keeping Bale than Cesar ending up there.

But why be back up to Rob Green in the Championship, when he can still play in the Prem.
Cesar did say himself that his wife loves London, so maybe he would lower his wage demands for the move.

He won't be back up to Green if he stays (which he won't) coz Green would be dropped. Cesar will get a loan move somewhere with us paying a proportion of his wage. It'll be last minute. Enough teams have shown an interest but he obviously doesn't want to lower his wages.

And why on earth would an albeit young but untried youngster who has failed to break into the first team at his current club and has been uninspiring at numerous lower division clubs on loan and only had half a season of 'potential' whilst on his most recent loan and clearly still not in his current manager's plans as he's transfer listed him...be worth the same as Brazil's current international Keeper and captain PLUS CASH?!

I know one is younger than the other and there is therefore the possibility of resale value to factor in...but...really? You would also need to factor in risk and at least with Cesar you know exactly what you're going to get as he has done it (and is continuing to do it) at the highest level consistently for many years. Townsend is a gamble. He's had half a good season. That's it. Levy may be trying to price in Townsend's potential but if he's that convinced then why sell him now?! Levy should nurture him and realise the potential for Spurs. He doesn't want the risk but wants the certainty he would get with Cesar and that has a significant inherent value.

Cesar PLUS cash for Townsend? Do me a favour!

Does it also include Scott Parker?

Thanks for sharing but sounds bs to me. Cesar wants 1st team football, may as well stay put otherwise

Too much info mate. But I will say it is normal to be in the AM. I can scarcely remember waking up soft.
