Mark Hughes plans Hoilett transfer (Mirror)

Stoke manager Mark Hughes is set to move for Junior Hoilett from former club Queens Park Rangers.

Hughes, whose brief is to get the Potters playing more attractive football, remains a fan of Hoilett, whom he signed last year during his time at Loftus Road and also managed when he was in charge at Blackburn.

The 23-year-old winger has had a fine start to the Championship season with QPR, impressing in their league win over Sheffield Wednesday and a League Cup victory at Exeter.

This paper runs non stop rubbish storys
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Well if the other Mirror story about Townsend and Parker signing were true i wouldn't have a problem with Junior going even after his good start to this season. The way i see it we want to be in the premier league and Townsend made far more of an impact than Hoilett. That being said i'd love to see the pair of them running at championship defences wearing the hoops i rekon Austin would have a field day picking up the pieces.

I'm sure a few clubs have got there eye on him but must hold onto him

Out of everyone he has improved the most and looks like he is one of the main players to play a part in getting us back

Tell that cu@t to fu@k off. We should have nothing to do with Stoke while that b@stard's there.

No we need to keep hoilett. Him and townsend on the wings would be lethal.

Has Junior Hoilett ever said that he wants to leave? Also he has three years left on his contract.

I'd agree with that. At the end of last season I'd have had him out, like many of us would have. Now? No way. He's made a good start this season and long may it continue.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Dunno about that, with Hughes's track record of spending big bucks on sh*t players he could be exactly the sort of person we should be doing business with. If he wants Hoilett then he will need to dig deep. We should try and palm off the likes of Zamora, Diakite, Mbia and Granero on him while we're at it!

Yes he was reported to be the 1st to say he wanted out after relegation was confirmed , I dont see it as the end of the world letting him go , for me Townsend or Phillips would do as good or if not a better job seeing as if we could get one of them they would want to be here .
We have posters creaming theirselves after the 1st gameand and the second about him terorising full backs after 2 games ! , if H is willing to let him go thats good enough for me let H get on with his job rebuilding the squad

Problem is jh will most probably have a release clause and Hughes will know it.
If stoke want him and hoillett wants to go we will be powerless to stop it.

We should fight tooth and nail to keep Hoilett. He will be our key player this season.

Does that apply for Mbia, Diakite and Granero?
