Rate Parker, but unless Barton is off I do not see the need !! also why sign O'Neil if Parker is on the list to join. Townsend gives the creative edge needed !

Also think, the squad size is important to get right ! If we have too many we will get a bitter camp with those who are not playing.

Last I read, Spurs wanted £7m for Townsend, £6m for Defoe.
And for Parker they have turned our offer down as it was presumably below their £3.5m asking price.

they are all overpriced, there's no point trying to get a bargain from spurs, they don;t allow it

townsend is promising but still very raw, parker is on the decline and will be too expensive (although spurs really want rid & harry seems to really want him), & i dunno about defoe

The deal would of been sealed but Matty wouldn't part with half his kebab
