There was a problem where the servers are held, hopefully it's sorted now, these things do happen from time to time.

(It was nothing to do with the site being busy this time)

This is from our technical guy:

Please be aware that server loads are currently very high. I project everything being back to normal around 12 ish.

The problem was caused by a severe fault in the data centre where the machine was hosted during the night. This resulted in the server having to be moved to another facility. Unfortunately it took some time for traffic to be re routed due a unrelated fault with a backup fibre circuit.
