Rumours are starting to pick up that we're close to signing Phillips from Blackpool for £5million.
I've heard of the guy but I don't know a great deal about him. Anyone seen him play? Is he worth that price tag?

Would imagine its a fee rising to 5 million, not sure he is worth that as a basic fee. Decent size, bit of pace and likes to cut in by all accounts, but not seen a lot myself so will have to see.

Have seen him live on a number of occasions playing for blackpool. he has a lot of talent and can play in the middle as well as wide, he is probably a better finisher than hoilet and as well as beating players he also knows when to pass and cross, he will be a really good signing fur us who will still be worth having in the premiership if we go up. well worth the money and along with Austin exactly the type of signing we should be making.

only concern is that he does seem to pick up more than the average number of injuries

My only question is he is seen as a hot prospect, was rated when he was in the prem, has been praised the last two years in the championship but no one has taken a chance on him yet so whys that???
