I might be the minority here but i don't really want them. We've had big name signings and they failed plus they would be on big money for one final pay day.

I would rather get value for money IMO, I just think buying and signing both Parker and Defoe is a bridge too far.

That is some ambition, both would be excellent signings and also apparently interested in Phillips at Blackpool with fee agreed. Wouldn't discount Defoe coming just yet, good relationship with Rednapp and we can pay more than the London based clubs who would want him. You never know.

Not a cat in hell's chance Defoe will move to the championship in a WC year when his place in the England squad is at risk. If lack of games is a problem, there's plenty of prem clubs who'd snap him up. Besides, hasn't he had a lot of issues with injuries the last couple of years????

I think Defoe is good and would probably do fine if he arrived but Remy is far better imo
